The earliest report of the monster is from the 6^th century. It describes a creature coming out of the water and attacking people.

3. In which year did Nessie become famous?

Nessie became famous in 1933 when a local newspaper wrote about her.

4. In which year did the first photograph of Nessie appear?

The first photograph of Nessie appeared in 1934. In the picture you can see the head and the neck of Nessie.

5. What do scientists think people see when they report that they see Nessie?

Scientists think people see other animals, like birds or big fish and other scientists think it was the wind or waves in the water.
