The earliest report of the monster is from the 6th century. It describes a creature coming out of the water and attacking people.

Nessie became famous in 1933 when a local newspaper wrote about her.

The first photograph of Nessie appeared in 1934. In the picture you can see the head and the neck of Nessie.
